While these looked alright they are cumbersome to handle and very difficult to manage for anybody living in the city or even with a moderately active lifestyle. Taking these into elevators or up a flight of stairs was a nightmare.
It wasn’t too late when people realized the need for compact prams they needed for their strolls. That’s how the term stroller came about. The strollers became collapsible, more lightweight and came with plenty of bells and whistles. These days with the super-busy lives that all of us need fitting in time to exercise can be a hassle. This is where the newest innovation - ‘jogging strollers’ come into the picture. A lot of parents wonder what to look for when they think about jogging strollers. After three kids and looking at several dozen strollers this is what we look at what we found to be most important:
Fixed or swivel wheel - This is an important distinction among strollers. It might seem that a swivel wheel might be the better option because it gives greater mobility. But if you have ever actually used the stroller while running or jogging you will realize that the fixed one is the way to go. If you are primarily looking for a nice looking stroller to take your kids out on a walk then a swivel wheel will do just fine.
Cushioning and Suspension - Look for a stroller that has a seat/head/back pad or cushion. While running, you want your baby to be comfortable especially for the cases where the ground might not be even or you run into a pothole. Extra padding for the head, back and seat are highly recommended. Strollers these days are pretty fancy and a lot of them offer great suspension usually rear and sometimes in the front too (just like your car).
Safety Features - This is probably the most important feature and most parents prioritize this at the top anyways. We wanted to specifically mention certain features that we found tremendously useful. The minimum you should be looking for is for padded adjustable shoulder/chest straps with a belt.

Tips for buying a jogging stroller
1. Where will you use the stroller, on a sidewalk, a roadway, a track? There are always bumps, so buy a stroller with shock absorbers.
2. Check for comfort and safety. The jogger should allow for at least 70% reclining, so your little passenger can sleep. Check for cushion comfort, hand and foot brakes, and seat locks.
3. Adjustable handles. You should be able to adjust handles to your height, to avoid strains on arms and shoulders.
4. Width and foldability. Do you have extra room at home? If not, you may have to settle for less carrying capacity. Make sure that the stroller folds easily for both car and home. You should not have to take it apart for storage.
5. Weight and storage capacity. Buy the lightest jogger possible, but avoid flimsy construction. Make sure you have adequate carrying capacity for shopping or picnics.
6. Wheel size and spacing. Larger wheels are comfortable wheels. Go for 12 inch wheels, at least. If you have to go over curbs, you might consider 16 inch wheels. Also, a longer distance between front and rear wheels will be a great help when going up and down hills.
7. Canopy tips. Get a good one. You have to protect against all sorts of weather, not to mention insects. Remember, your child is valuable cargo.

We did the graco travel system with the first baby. It was very durable. But she out grew the car seat at 4 months. The snugride only goes up to 26 inches in length.
So this time we are going to go with the I think it’s the 1st seat by graco. It’s an infant seat that goes up to 32 inches and 30lbs. And get the car seat frame stroller. It’s lightweight and will take up half as much space as the graco stroller.
We have two other strollers for when the baby grows out of the car seat. A jeep Urban terrain stroller which is great for long walks, the beach, amusement parks. But is a pain to load and would be a nightmare at the airport.
And we have a chicco stroller that was great for everyday use and traveling.
Both of those have now lasting twice as long as the graco stroller did.

They don’t make side by side triplet strollers because they’re too wide to fit through doorways and on sidewalks. Even if you somehow found one, they don’t accept infant carseats. However, I believe Ma Claren makes a good triplet stroller that’s easier to maneuver than other brands.

I have a jogging stroller which the left back side tire needs fixed or replaced. I pumped up the tire before a walk and within a mile, it went flat on me. So i had to pump it up again and turned around to go home because I didn’t want it to go flat on me again. Does anyone know where I could get this replaced or fixed? And I don’t think a car tire repair shop would help. So thats not the answer I’m looking for…hehe.
