Peg Perego Pliko Stroller Review – A Great Stroller for both Parents and Children

You have most likely heard that the fashion world flocks to Milan Italy for all the modern designer clothes and shoes… the same holds true for strollers. If you are looking for leading edge stroller functionality and a stroller that looks as good as it performs, then you should look for Peg Perego Strollers. And if you are shopping for a stroller that delivers the combination of comfort and durability, you should look at Peg Perego’s Pliko stroller – a well-built, full-sized stroller that is easy to transport.

Today we are reviewing Peg Perego’s Pliko stroller. The Pliko is available in two designs – the P3 and the Switch. Both of these strollers are infant car seat-ready and both strollers have more features than you can imagine. The main difference between these two models are the color and the seat / canopy material options.  Both the P3 and the Switch strollers come with standard features such as a lightweight aluminum frame, height adjustable handles, easy fold capabilities, a carrying handle and a large storage basket. Pliko strollers even have a rear footboard that allows older children to stand on the back of the stroller

Being a full-sized stroller it’s pretty surprising that the Pliko stroller weighs less than 17 pounds, given the light weight and easy fold capability, this stroller is a good traveling stroller. The Pliko stroller folds compactly so it can be easily stored in your car’s trunk where space is usually limited. You unfold the Pliko stroller in two easy steps. First you pull up on its rear-backrest handle and second, with the wheels firmly on the ground, you push down on the handles until it locks. Your Pliko stroller is now folded into it’s locked position – now the Pliko stroller can be stood upright. This comes in handy when you want to prop the Pliko stroller up – out of everybody’s way. i.e., for storage, in crowds, restaurants, etc.

Peg Perego’s Pliko stroller works with Peg Perego’s Promo Viaggio SIP 30/30 infant car seat – sold separately. The Viaggio infant car seat locks into the Pliko stroller quite easily to keep your child safe and secure. With the Pliko / Viaggio set up you can easily transfer  your child from your car to your stroller, and visa versa, without disturbing your child. When your child has out-grown his or her infant car seat, the Pliko stroller is there with a comfortable padded seat, Peg Perego’s unique 5-point “Freedom of Movement” harness, a four-position reclining backrest, a two-position, height adjustable footrest, and with other great stroller features that gives your child a comfortable ride.

Once you have your young child and the Viaggio infant car seat safely in the Pliko stroller you have two canopies that can be pulled together to fully enclose your child which protects him or her from the wind, rain and / or the sun. Pliko’s hood has a viewing window that helps  you to keep an eye on your child. When you are strolling in fair weather, you can remove the hood altogether for a great view and lots of fresh air.

All strollers should have some sort of child tray and cup holders for both the child and the parent. The Pliko stroller covers this ‘requirement’ quite nicely. The Pliko stroller has a removable child tray and two cup holders that swivel out of the way when loading / unloading your child into / out of your stroller. The child tray and cup holders fold up with your stroller.

The Stroller Shop highly recommends Peg Perego products – especially the Pliko stroller.  It’s a great stroller that offers you and your child a great strolling experience.

Where can I buy a replacement cup holder for my P3 stroller?

I have a Peg Perego P3 2006, and lost the cup holder during travel. The replacement sold on the peg perego website doesn’t look like the one I had… it was a flexible holder that could hold different sized cups/bottles. (it had a break in the middle that allowed it to be flexible)
Thanks for your help!!!

hehe thats a cute question

Zooper Stroller Double Up

Talking to Toddlers is an audio program created by Chris Thompson, a father of two kids. He claimed that he is an expert in language strategies using “neuro-linguistic programming” (NLP). By using NLP, he stated that he can get the toddlers to agree to do things. This may sound fancy to you. This Talking to Toddler Review will discuss whether this program is for real or one of those scam products that parents should avoid.

The audio program is composed of 3 CDs. It is also available in MP3 format which you can download directly from the Talking to Toddlers official website. By being an audio product, you can listen to the program anywhere, even while you are driving the car or jogging with your portable MP3 player. There are tons of information you need to listen to and it will definitely take a lot of time before you complete the program.

The techniques mentioned by Chris are easy to follow. You can immediately test the strategies with your toddlers. Most of the time toddlers would want to do their own thing and giving orders can cause them to exhibit tantrums. One of the interesting techniques is what Chris called as the “double bind”. This is applicable if you need your toddler to follow your instructions. What a parent needs to do is to give the toddler choices that are effectively the same. By doing this, you will force your toddler to choose either one and he will end up doing the tasks that you intend him to do. The use of positive language is also a main focus of the program. You will get positive results from your toddlers using positive words.

In summary, the audio program packs a lot of information that parents need to know in order to raise their toddlers properly with less stress. Parents will know how they will discipline their toddlers and control their tantrums. This Talking to Toddler Review definitely concludes that the product is for real and is truly a gem for parents.

Jerry Gardner is a parent of 2 toddlers. Being a parent is indeed tough. We need to learn the right techniques in order for us to raise our toddlers properly. I recommend products that are valuable to parents in their journey towards happy and stress-free parenthood. Discover how an audio program can truly guide you by visiting my review site

Double strollers.?

Has anyone seen a side-by-side stroller that I can put a newborn and a toddler in? I have yet to find one that isn’t for older babies.
Not 350$ dollars or more. I can’t spend 1000$ on a stroller.
I didn’t even think about having trouble fitting through doorways. Is this a big problem? I was just thinking they would be better later. I didn’t want one bored kid staring at the back of a head.

All of the running strollers recline all of the way. The combi one can be used with the compatible carseat, too! It’s 220 dollars. http://www.nextag.com/Combi-Twin-Sport-2-581897397/prices-html
I like it. The Bob strollers are ok. Same thing with the Zooper Tango. I like the Zooper better than the Combi, but that’s just me!

The jogging strollers (Phil & Ted’s, Valco Baby, Bob) don’t fit well through doorways, but the Combi and the Zooper and the Peg Perego do. I don’t like the Peg Perego Aria–it has a cheap feel for an expensive stroller (and normally I’m a huge proponent of a Peg Perego) and it’s a bumpy jerky ride for the kids. If you go Peg Perego, go front to back and get the Duette–again, much more expensive, but it has a steering wheel like device. Many front back strollers are difficult to push. Are you going forward more or through doorways more. That’s what you need to weigh. Kolcraft makes the Contours Options double stroller which is awesome and can have the kids both face out, face each other, or go front to back and it’s fairly inexpensive as far as double strollers go.

Stroller Double Travel Systems

stroller double travel systems
Hoping you all can help with travel system question?

I was in the mall the other day, and I could slap myself for not asking, but this woman had a travel system that I want! It carried an infant and a toddler. The toddler sat in back in a regular stroller type seat and the baby was up front in a snap on carseat. Eventually the stroller can be turned into a double stroller by removing the car seat. Does anyone know what this is called? I have been looking for it online all morning. It wasn’t a sit and stand and again it came with an infant carseat too.
Yeah, I have already checked every twin stroller on amazon and I searched every combination I could think of on google and I can’t find it.
YES!!! It is the Duo Glider Travel System by Graco… thank you thank you thank you. I will give best answer when my four hours are up!!

go 2 gracobaby.com I just saw one a while ago and I think it’s exactly what u want. look under the double stroller section.

The two persons who benefit from the baby rocking chair are the mother as well as the child. There are also two kinds of rocking chairs – one is meant for the mother to rock baby on her lap and the other for the older child to play the part of the parent and rhythmically rock. As the world spins on its orbit, as the waves rock to and fro there is a deep urge in man to rock and roll for peace and calm. The rocking chair represents the most endearing phase of life – our childhood.

Basically the rocking chair has two curved bands of wood or rockers fixed to the bottom of the chair. It contacts the chair with the floor only on two points that allows the occupant of the seat to rock back and forth with the minimum of effort. It is a comfortable chair to sit on even without the push factor – it automatically adjusts with the centre of gravity of the sitter for ergonomic advantage. It relieves stress. Built up on this basic structure are many types of rocking chairs having springs and gliders. Greek and Roman chairs influenced the neo-classical designs. One of the latest Norwegian models can take on four positions.

The upholstered baby rocking chairs in the market are made from as many as 60 different kinds of material. Some of the fabrics used are denim, plaid, vinyl etc. Others have a leather finish. If required the customer can choose the fabric. The foam padding can be easily cleaned. The colours are soft pastel, chocolate brown, soft lime and pink.

There is another design of chocolate polka dot on suede fabric. Also on suede pink chocolate polka dot is available. Some of the baby rocking chairs are so meticulously crafted by hand that they can be kept as family heirlooms. The frame is of maple wood and the plush feel gives it the extra touch of comfort and class.

Some baby rocking chairs can be easily folded and are made of red oak. Oil is rubbed in by hand to give it the finished look of hardwood. The sling seats are for easy rocking but perfectly balanced so that there is no fear of tipping over. As an added bonus a blanket for baby’s soft skin comes free with the chair. Children think these baby rocking chairs to be the best piece of furniture in the house. The design is easy for children to get in and out of it.

The name of the child can be customized by special order. A matching ottoman or pouf will make the baby rocking chair set more adorable.

There are other types of unique rocking chairs that are not upholstered but come in various shapes and designs. The very names speak of the look of the chair – Teddy Bear, Zoo X, Animal Cracker and Sassy Pink for girls. A detachable cradle comes with some chairs so that the little girl thrills in becoming a mum as she rocks on the chair with a doll beside her in the cradle.

Gotobaby was founded in 2002 and ships from New York, CT, and Wisconsin. They offer new baby gifts to the public and a great new baby gift selection to the trade.

Bob Stroller Strides Fitness Stroller

The BOB Jogging Stroller Will Help You Get Back In Shape After Having Your Baby!

I remember the first few months after my baby was born – vaguely. There was a lot of sitting around nursing him, and not a lot of sleep. It was an exciting and very emotional time. I started to feel like a zombie in my house and sometimes I felt trapped. Then I got my BOB jogging stroller and a whole new world opened up to me. The BOB Jogger made it easy to get out of the house with my baby, and we started really enjoying getting out into the sunlight together!

BOB joggers come in a variety of styles – there’s one for everyone. If you have one baby to push around, you’ll have the most flexibility of course. But BOB has many stroller designs that accommodate two children, so don’t think your fit days are behind you just because you have two little ones at home.

If you are looking for something to take on coarse surfaces, whether it be gravel, sand, mud, or whatever, the Revolution four wheel drive jogging stroller is amazing. This is the ideal stroller for a hiker, or a jogger that jogs anywhere but the street. The front wheel pivots, so you can use it when you need to, or put it away when you want to go someplace with a smooth surface. Have more than one baby? No problem! Try the new BOB Revolution Duallie, which is a modified version of the original BOB Duallie design. This stroller is maneuverable, and good quality, so it will last. While the price is a little steep, you get what you pay for, and this is worth it. BOB Stroller Strides stroller was the first stroller designed for the nationwide stroller exercise program that parents can participate in with their babies. It is the original jogging stroller, yet, it has quite a bit of uses. Walking and strength training are part of the exercise program that BOB created for parents to do while baby is strapped into the site and moving around. This makes for a happy time all the way around. If you have two babies, this stroller also comes in a double so you don’t have to miss your jog.

Another popular model of BOB joggers is the Ironman. The BOB Ironman stroller is very lightweight and is considered one of their most premium strollers. If you train over long distances or hilly neighborhoods, you’ve probably noticed that the stroller gets harder to push the heavier it is. The BOB Ironman is light to help you and your baby travel easy.

You can see that there are a number of excellent stroller styles to choose from when you start looking at BOB jogging strollers. Take your time and find one that you love – hopefully you’ll be using it a lot as you and your baby get out for fresh air – whether you’re going for a fun or just strolling around town!

Bicycle Trailers – Peddling Fun That Includes The Baby

Previously parents were limited in their ability to take their children along for bicycle rides. Bicycle seats are for children who are at least able to sit up and then they are a bit precarious as well if you are not an expert bicycle rider. Now there are bicycle trailers which can be pulled safely behind your bike with up to two children.

There are many different brands and styles of bicycle trailers that can be pulled behind your bicycle. Most have two rear wheels while some have three total wheels. All are covered from the sun and other elements. Children can bring blankets and pillows inside and make a nice, comfortable ride for themselves.

Each of the bicycle trailers attach to your bicycle in a variety of ways, mostly with a long metal tube and a hitch that securely connects to your seat stem. Some of them come with an extra harness strap for added security.

Many of the bicycle trailers are made not only for use with the bicycles, but convert into walking strollers, snow ski strollers or jogging strollers. This multiple use trailer is one of the higher-end bicycle trailers , but well worth the additional cost for the extra uses. There are even snow ski bicycle trailer kits to be able to place skis on the bottom of the trailer so you can snow ski or skate ski or even snow shoe with your child or children in the trailer while you wear a harness and pull the trailer along behind you.

Made of a durable, breathable material, a mixture of vinyl, and tent material, the bicycle trailers can tow one or two children or up to 100 pounds of camping gear, hiking gear or whatever you need to haul with your bicycle. They also come with a thin layer of netting so that bugs stay out and your child can see the world as they travel along with you. And many of the bicycle trailers are lightweight so that you are not weighing down when you are cycling. In addition, if something were to happen to you on your bike and you do tumble, the trailer will remain upright and the children or gear will be safe.

A bicycle trailer is great for taking the smaller children to preschool or having them accompany you to the grocer for a few items. Bicycling is a great way to stay fit and taking your little ones along is more fun than doing it alone. Using your bicycle trailer to haul groceries will save you gas by not using your car, or when you go camping, you can take the bicycle trailer on the trails with hiking and camping or fishing gear so you don’t have to use a backpack.

Babies and small infants must be secured in a car seat before being placed in the bicycle trailer. Even though the trailers are stable and rarely tip over, the babies do get jostled around quite a bit and babies and infants can’t hold on or sit up like toddlers and older children can. They must be protected and a carrier or car seat is the best way to protect them from bumps.

So if you are an active parent who enjoys a leisurely bicycle ride, a bicycle trailer is a great way to combine both your love of riding and your love of your children.

Reconnect With Your Kid Using Bike Trailers

A cycling enthusiast, I used to spend numerous weekends riding against the wind with my hubby. To me, it was not just a great way to exercise, it was also an excellent opportunity for couple bonding. As a matter of fact, it was cycling that brought us together. We were chatting online via a cycling discussion board then and after several cycling trips, our passion for cycling eventually turned romantic.

Since the birth of our daughter 2 years ago, things started to change. Our committment to our baby denied us of our time with our biking hobby. So much so that going on adventure trips is now considered a luxury. At first, I thought that indicate the end of my love affair with cycling. Well, for the next few years at least. But a good friend’s recommendation altered all that. He proposed that we affix a child bike trailer to our bicycles so that our baby could tag along on our trips!

Frankly, I was kind of worried initially since both of us love speeding on our bikes. But once we made the decision to just try it out, there was no looking back. The experience was fantastic! In fact, our girl enjoyed her maiden ride so much that she would now smile and laugh whenever we position her comfortably in the bicycle trailer!

Child Bike Trailers, What Are Those?

For those of you who are not aware, child bike trailers are chariot-like coaches usually set up to the rear of a bicycle. such bike trailers are actually quite dependable since they use lightweight yet durable frames and materials. A canopy is also included so that you can keep your child away from the harsh weather. Other than that, safety concerns are also factored into their design. For example, many bike trailers contain safety belts and build in other measures to avoid tipping. If you’re into multi-functionality, I’m sure you’ll be delighted to know that some bike trailers can be converted into strollers too.

The Bike Trailer Experience

I’ve really got my child bike trailer to thank for. It not only allowed me to continue my love for cycling, it has also granted me a chance to bond with my 2 year old tot. For example during our trips, we would stop by for a family picnic. My little girl just loves it!

While having fun, don’t forget to look into safety. Ensure that the ride is comfortable and safe for the kid. In any case, always make your child wear a rider helmet and fasten his safety belt before you move off. Personally, I would also control my speed just to ensure that the ride was not too bumpy for the kid. At the end of the day, there was something I can confirm.

I would only enjoy the trip if my baby did.

Must Have Protection For Your Dog In The Summer Heat

Exposure from the hot searing sun and hot surfaces are just a couple dangers that come along with summer. All dog breeds are susceptible to the intense heat of the summer sun. Longhaired dogs that still have some of their winter undercoat left and shorthaired dogs like the Whippet or Grey Hound can develop sunburn.

Longhaired dog should be thoroughly groomed preferably professionally using a deshedding shampoo and deshedding brushes while being blow-dried. FURminator has some of the best and most recommended products for removing a winter undercoat and excess hair.

Shorthaired dogs should not be left in direct sunlight for long periods without some kind of light dog coat to keep the intense sun off their skin. These dog coats are perfect for long walks on sunny days. Dog strollers with an overhead cover work the best for small dogs keeping them cool and rested.

The next greatest danger the summer heat can bring is dehydration. Fresh cool water is must for any trip that involves being outdoors on hot summer days. Dehydration for dogs has the same effects as they do for humans; excess strain on the heart, heatstroke, and seizures in the more severe cases.

There are plenty of portable dog water bottles available to pet parents you can take along to keep your dog hydrated. Some symptoms to look for are heavy excessive panting, dry gums, and confusion. If your dog exhibits these warning signs then it is time to take a break and get them some fresh water immediately.

Dogs relieve body heat in two ways panting and through their paws. Hot surfaces such as asphalt or hot sand can burn the pads so having a set of dog paw protectors is good idea if these types of surfaces are where you and your dog spend considerable time. There are mesh open-air dog paw protectors that work like water shoes do for humans.

Lastly, if you know the day is going to be exceptionally hot leave your dog indoors preferably in an air-conditioned environment. If you do not have air conditioning then a fan will do keeping the activity to a minimum. Never leave your dog in a closed-up vehicle. The temperatures can reach in excess of 200 degrees and will kill your dog.

Dog strollers…..where to find a decent price one (reason for needing it inside)?

Okay I’m not a huge fan of the idea of doggie strollers and such but we go to the flea market a lot and we are able to take our poodle since he can be carried. Well the rule is pets are allowed if they can be carried or in a stroller……well we hate that we can’t take our other dog with us….our mix Sasha who is 22 pounds and hard to carry (when you pick her up she is dead weight) so we looked at some doggie strollers today that can hold a dog up to 35 pounds and just wondering what the typical price of the stroller is (it looks like one of those athletic baby strollers) this one was 85 dollars.

Thanks….
I am a strong believer in God gave the dogs legs so they can and should walk but its the only way we can take her with us…….

$85 dollars is and excellent price for a stroller. At the pet store i work at they sell anywhere from $189 up to $259.

Where to find replacement strap for stroller?

I got an older Jeep double umbrella stroller for free. The only thing wrong with it is that one of the foot straps is broken. Does anyone know a great place to buy a replacement one without know what model it is exactly?

Give Kolcraft a call. You should be able to get one from them probably at a nominal charge.

If you look on the underside of the stroller on one of the frame there maybe a white sticker that has the information about the make and model of your stroller.

Peg Perego? Has anyone tried or know the difference (aside from price) between a peg and graco stroller?

I was sold on getting a graco travel system but my friend insists a peg perego one is worth it. Just want to know what you think, it just seems like its way too much money (but then again, it might be really good)! Money i may spend on other baby stuff. What strollers do you recommend and why?
Thanks everyone!!!

Hey Bunny! The Graco is nice. The Peg Perego is also very nice. Kind of similar to buying cars, ie a Toyota vs a Lexus. (Sort of). I think that the best advice I could give you is to think about when/where you will use it. I live in the sticks, and primarily use mine for the Mall, brief walks, as well as special outdoor events. Other than that, we used to carry (sling, backpack, etc). My son is 2 now, and I can hardly keep him in it. My daughter who is 7 would still ride if we let her (LOL).
I found that investing in a stroller that isn’t gi-normous, but has the durability of a larger stroller was key for me and my needs.
Basically I went on the hunt for a really “suped up” umbrella stroller. I found the Combi and although it’s exactly what I was looking for, it did have some limitations: I had to buy an extra cup holder, it wasn’t meant for teeny tiny infants (again I wore mine), and the basket underneath is too small to my liking. Mine was easier to schlepp in and out of the car with a baby in arm, etc. Plus my car didn’t have the storage space for a stroller system.

Now if you live in the city and plan on using it everyday, all the time, definitely invest in a sturdier, bigger model. Especially if you plan on walking with the baby in the stroller a lot.
Try and pick a model that will grow with you child, so you don’t have to buy another one later.
I will say that I LOVED the Snugride carseat (even though we used it for only 4 months) it was a lifesaver when my son had GERD, and he used to sleep well in it!
BTW, if you can still find them, Britax made carseats for Fisher Price at a fraction of the sticker price. (I last saw it on Albeebaby.com, you may only find them in secondary markets now- such as ebay and amazon)
Good luck…
Boy or girl?????

Double Baby Stroller Ergonomics

For most parents who’ve decided to buy a stroller online, the ergonomic features (recap: basically to do with comfort and injury prevention) of a double baby stroller are often placed behind price and looks in order of importance. Most double baby stroller models nowadays have padded and rib grip handlebars for security and comfort. Ss the parent’s comfort goes, the average stroller will usually stop there. The babies and toddlers (the occupants) are, of course, the primary concern. Many mid-range models have removable seating pads, a hygienic bonus as well as a comfort boost. Also, padded seats are a must for a smooth ride, especially in a jogging stroller.

Price matters!

Price can certainly matter; It tops most consumers’ concerns list. The well-established brands like Graco and Maclaren (as well as many others) put their mid-range (and higher) double baby stroller models through independent testing prior to release, so you know you’re going to get something that has met very strong quality tests. Even the lower models are put through tests to check that the most vital components stand up to the claims made by the manufacturer in product listings and such…

From the feet up

A great feature is a suitable foot rest on the double baby stroller. If you have a toddler, this should definitely be on your list… The reasons why foot rests are critical are wide-ranging, but many are the same as those that determine good ergonomics in a workplace – that is, if your feet have a firm surface on which to rest (instead of hanging or dangling), the body – as a whole – feels more at rest and that may even lower one’s heartrate. Quite surprising, the difference such a seemingly minor thing makes.

A villain… hidden in plain sight!

Babies should not be exposed to too much sunlight for a duration of more than 15-20 minutes. Sun shades with good coverage (for both seats) are often taken for granted, and even toddlers should not be left with direct sunlight on their face for extended periods. For certain geographical locations, you are putting them at risk!

Mister Burns: “Oh, yes, sitting -the great leveler. From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn’t enjoy a good sit?

Quality secure seating is a must-have. More than just a feature to shield from potential physical damage (if they were to fall forward and out!), secure seating also protects from back pain or even permanent injury. Regulations are far too lax for us to assume best support unless we’re purchasing a reputable, quality double baby stroller; in fact, a number of strollers have been taken off the market in the past few years for failing to meet quality tests after they were put on the market.

Double baby stroller reviews

Ensure you always read the reviews of a double baby stroller (like on Amazon or other product review websites) and pay attention to words about quality and especially cautions of letdowns in that particular department. If a particular function seems flimsy or poorly built, see how it might affect your or your baby’s comfort. For instance, a stroller with mismatched material stitching is not as big a deal as having a seat that moves unnaturally or reports of the double baby stroller collapsing!

Common sense, that is, actually. Good look with your research. If you have questions, I have found Yahoo Answers to be a great community that responds to any question – about anything – fairly quickly.

does anyone know where to find a pattern to make a cover for the seats in a stroller?

for the seat covers, the sun shade? or how do I go about taking the old ones off and using it as a guide? I hate the look of my stroller with a passion!!! I live up in alaska, so shipping is insanly high for anything big, and double strollers are kinda hard to come by, so my choice is to deal, or try to revamp it. any ideas?
um yeah, towels and blankets wont do it, was thinking lil more classier, and custom done. kinda like pimpin their ride lol.

Sure you can pimp their ride! The trick is finding a fabric that works with the existing frame color. Every stroller is different, so your pieces may or may not come all the way off. No problem…a slipcover is a better option anyway. You can take the slipcover off to wash it 😉 I made a cover for my son’s car seat, and this is what I did:

Examine how the original seat or sun shade is constructed. Keep in mind that your slipcover may need to tie, button or velcro on to make it look professional (so it won’t bunch). You’ll also want to figure out how to make your cover slip on and off easily.

You’ll use the existing seat and sun canopy as a pattern to cut a copy of each piece from your new fabric. For example, if you’re cutting the seat back, cut out a larger square (about 2″ bigger all the way around). Lay your fabric over the actual seat back with the wrong side facing you. Draw your exact outline with a marker (make it easy to see). Be sure to mark the holes where the straps will come through. Remove your piece and cut outside your line about 3/4″ all the way around. This allowance gives you a 5/8″ seam allowance, plus a little extra for fitting it. Once you get all of your pieces cut, stitch them together, checking the fit as you go. A lot of really cute seat covers use two complementing fabrics. I’ve also noticed the professional covers use a woven binding over the seams that are going to be carrying weight to make the cover stronger.

I’d advise against using a light color, as they show dirt so easily and get dingy over time. I’d also use a solid or a busy pattern that won’t need to be ‘matched’ at the seams. And since you’re in a cold climate, a pre-quilted fabric would be a great option.

If you’re really adventurous, you could do a reversible cover, using seam binding over the seams…two looks in one! 😉 Best of luck!

Get 2 In One Convenience With The Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller

The Peg Perego Travel System 2010 delivers a simple and effective solution to the stress of managing a baby, a stroller and a car seat. The Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller has a detachable seat that may be replaced by the compatible car seat.
The car seat and stroller work together to save you time.
And, utilizing them together saves space in the vehicle as well.

The choice of three configurations would have to put this stroller at the top of the list for convenience and versatility.
You may benefit from being able to easily switch the direction of the stroller seat to suit your circumstances.
If you need to keep a close eye on your child easily face it toward you. When you’re going out in the car leave the stroller seat at home and take the vehicle seat instead.

The travel system has been designed with your child’s safety in mind.
It has the typical Switch Stroller safety features like the five point safety harness, a hood that converts to a sun shade canopy with an simple zipping action and centrally controlled braking. In addition it has integrated side impact protection built into the car seat.

Opening and closing the stroller is simple. It does not matter whether you have the seat facing you or facing forward. And, what’s more it ‘ll stand up on its own. You ‘ll not have to worry about scratching exterior paint by leaning the stroller against the car door.
And, you ‘ll have 2 free hands to hold your child and the shopping.

Space saving is another practical advantage. By using the vehicle seat instead of a stroller seat, the umbrella folding frame takes up less space. And, because the car seat is designed to attach to the frame it’s straightforward to switch between the stroller and vehicle.
The lightweight frame and the side carrying handle make transferring the frame into and out of the car straightforward.

It’s the thought put into the small things that frequently make the difference. Space seems to always be at a premium when you’re doing things with your baby.
Yet, the spacious and practical basket should be able to meet your needs.
The padded handles provide extra comfort for tired hands and the telescoping action means you can set them at a level that is comfortable for you.

Luxury, style, convenience and safety are what you get when utilizing the Travel System 2010.
The Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller is practical and versatile enough to meet your needs and the extra impact protection provides maximum security for your precious cargo while traveling.

Peg Perego Pilko vs. larger Graco Travel System?

Does anyone know if the peg perego pilko stroller is smaller and more compact than the larger Graco strollers (sold as the travel ssytem)? Im finding the graco stroller way to large for teh trunk, etc, and was considering the pilko. Or does anyone know of any good umbrella/light weight strollers that recline? (its for a 4month old).
thanks

I have the Pliko P3 and went to it after an Eddie Bauer which I believe is similar to the Graco strollers. It is MUCH more compact. I actually tore part of the weather stripping on my trunk from taking the Eddie Bauer in and out of it because it was so large. The Peg Perego folds very similar to an umbrella stroller and is also much lighter than your standard strollers. One of the features that would be good for your 4 month old is the harness system. It secures the child and you don’t have to worry about them flopping over. Once they’re older and can sit unassisted, the harness can be detached from the back allowing them to move freely from side to side and front to back while still being secure. One of the main reasons for my purchase of this stroller is the fact that the back fully reclines and the canopy can be extended to the tray in front. This stroller is pricier than a Graco but it is well worth it.

Stroller Toddler Board

stroller toddler board
Does Cebu Pacific allow carseats on board?

We are bound to the Philippines next month for a 3 week vacation. I am concerned about Cebu Pacific rules on board when traveling with a toddler. We will take our convertible carseat+stroller with us so we can just use it on board and inside the airport for our connecting flights around the US. I am wondering if Cebu Pacific allows carseats on board because we have a connecting flight from Manila to Negros and i am worried that the FA’s might not let us use my daughter’s carseat.I’ve been trying to get in touch with Cebu Pacific hotline but it takes too long for them to answer the phone. So maybe, anyone who has flown Cebu Pacific before around the Philippines, please enlighten my mind perhaps give me accurate details. Thank you very much.
***I mean Manila to Negros.***

i am not sure if they will allow that onboard. i have not seen one used onboard but i know that federal aviation authority(usa) does recommend it. better check with cebu pacific although their call center sucks bigtime. the best time to call them would be around 8 am philippine time. the moment you call them past that time don’t bother getting thru.

Baby Strollers Car Seats Decorating The Nursery

Just as having your first child is something that will change your life, likewise making up everything for the infant from the initial day of his or her life is a challenge that takes time and energy. At first you might not be able to determine what you intend to do for the child that would be truly unusual. You will probably want a distinct room for the childyoungster, keep them in every luxury possible and decorate the room in such a way that no other youngster will have such a room. I know, that it is your son or daughter and to you nobody is more special than your son or daughter. Consequently it becomes a very unhappy aspect for you when you’re in a circumstance where cash is not that plentiful but you also want to do the best for your son or daughter. For this reason we have come up with the “decorate the baby’s room when your finances are tight” plan that will assist you fulfill your needs.

The first matter that you will need to do is select a fashion in which you want to decorate the room. If you are aware of the sex of your child then it is easy enough, nevertheless, if you are expecting some surprise then there are numerous other options to choose from. To decorate the baby’s room when your funds are small you can pick from a wide range of topics for your baby. You can transform the nursery into a forest or a lake or a sun filled meadow even though one of the big consequences that you face is space because you just won’t know what furniture you will need to buy. But I would say: buy only those objects that are wholly necessary for the son or daughter like a bed, a cradle, and a stroller etc., and do not purchase a huge cupboard or objects that the child cannot use.

Ensure that the areas are designed in keeping with the theme that you have chosen for your baby. If you continue in this fashion then you will find that decorating the nursery even with a tiny amount of money can be fascinating. To me, the paint color in the room and the furnishings are the best area and the only one which highlights the ultimate effect.

To add the winding up touch you can incorporate mirrors and lamps, rugs with letters and numbers on them etc., so that along with play your son or daughter can learn early on. Many of these objects are also seen in a sales event so if you look then you will for certain get what you want. The final essential matter that I want to talk about is to get the father of the son or daughter engaged at any cost because he should be part of what feels to be a father. When you can produce a infant then you must recognize how to look after them. Of course it will be a learning experience for him so do take him along and do not trouble yourself about the decoration of the nursery even if your budget is low.

where can i find a double stroller that also has the car seat that clips in and out for one of the seats?

My boys will be 17 months apart, so I need a stroller that will accommodate a toddler and an infant. I am hoping to find one that is like the travel systems that come with the car seat stroller combination. Please help with any online store or regular store suggestions. A specific brand/model would be ideal.

The Peg Perego Aria is a side by side double stroller that will accommodate one car seat. It will only take one of their brand car seats(which I highly recommend.) A Peg Perego car seat will latch and lock in rather then strap over the stroller. The Aria is one of the lightest double strollers you’ll find, and the car seat is one of the heaviest. The carseat is heavier in part because of the extra side impact protection. The aria runs at about $199.99 the carseat at $219.99

The B.O.B. Revolution Duallie side-by-side stroller will take a car seat as well. It will take any car seat with a $90 adapter. The great thing about the BOB is that it will last as long as you need it. It’ll take something close to 75lbs in each seat. It also does not squeeze the toddler next to a bulky car seat. Pretty spacious. Runs about $570 + what ever carseat.

You can get both of these strollers almost anywhere. I recommend going to the Right Start or USA Baby. All Right Start stores are closing, so you may be able to get a good deal on them.

There is also the double Graco. I don’t recommend it. It is very bulky, heavy and set up front to back. The car seat just about sits on top and can have a “shopping cart effect.”

Shopping Cart Double?

I'm looking to buy the cart side by side and can not decide between Bumbleride Indie Twin, Bob Revolution Duallie, and Phil and EC3. Ted, I think that's called. sugguestions should any of those who have owned or tested them. The biggest thing we're looking for the swiftness and fit through. standard doorways.

I can not comment either way on. Any of them, but I personally if I were to buy a double stroller, I will not get the side. Shopping Cart now owned three pairs and they have every page. To return, I think they are really easy to navigate. I would not dream of going somewhere like Disney World with a side ways to narrow very wide in places.

I need advice on a double stroller…?

Okay moms of twins I need some advice on a praticular stroller I would like to purchase… My babies are due next month and I just decided I would get a Baby Trend Snap N Go double stroller frame, since I have the two Baby Trend infant seats… Anyway I’m sooo in love with the Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller… I would like to purchase that one once they are out of the infant seats… Does anyone on here have experience with either one or both of these strollers, if so I would love your feedback on them. I read the reviews and so far like what I’ve read, but I would like ya’ll opinions also. Any feedback would be appreaciated…

I don’t have twins, but my kids are 14 months apart, so I used a double stroller for a while. The only advice I can give you is go with the one that’s the most streamlined and easiest to maneuver. The one complaint I had about my double was that it was impossible to get around in department stores. I couldn’t steer it between the racks because it was so long and bulky…

Double Stroller Dilemma?

Hi there!
I am debating on a couple double strollers and have it narrowed down to these two……

The Valco Baby Runabout Tri Mode and
The Bumbleride Indie Twin

Does anyone have either of these and which one would you suggest?

Thanks for any info!! 🙂

I have twin boys & I have the Graco twin sport. I like that one because it fits through all doors. And I mean all doors. It turns easily & I can do it all with 1 hand.
With the two you are looking at, you may want to make sure they can fit through doors at the mall or where ever you want to go. I’d suggest measuring your front door & seeing if either would be able to fit through your front door. Mine fits with room on each side.
I also have the one where one sits behind the other. I got it when they were infants & I used it maybe 7 times. I use the side by side so much more. It’s not harder then the other at all.

Good luck. Hope I helped some what.

Stroller And Car Seat Graco

stroller and car seat graco

Can you use another car seat with a Graco Metrolite stroller?

I gave away my Graco Metrolite carseat, but kept the stroller. Now a friend of mine is about to have a baby and I’d like to give her the stroller and buy a car seat that will work with it as a shower gift. But I can’t replace just the car seat since it only comes as a set, will another Graco car seat work with the Metrolite Stroller?
Oops, I didn’t mean to choose the 2nd answer as the best one, as obviously she didn’t read the question, lol! I am not regifting the car seat, that was given away a few years ago to someone who could not afford to buy one. I am asking about which new car seat would work with the old stroller.

i think car seats are not such a great idea to regift. my partner is a firefighter and sees alot of roadside accidents. it all comes down to how much money are you willing to spend to keep your child safe? a car seat is THE most important item for a new baby although too many people leave this item for last minute!!

you could always just gift the stroller?

EDIT: oops! sorry! i was on a roll lol… i looked it up and i think the carseat part is called the graco snugride carseat. they retail from $58.00 to $200.00 australian. i couldnt find any information on using another carseat with the stroller though

heres the link:

hope this helps 🙂

Anyone have a Kidarooz Bike Trailer/Stroller? Should I buy one?

I dont know much about bike trailers, but I came across this one used on craigslist. She paid $170 for it and has hardly used it – she wants $100 or offer. I googled it and found that in some user-reviews, people say it doesnt maneuver very well. I like that it turns into a stroller because our stroller just broke. I am concerned that it wont connect to my bike though – I have a really old schwinn, but know I need to upgrade. Anyways, I want it to pull my 2 year old in. Does anyone have one? Should I buy it? I was thinking about offering her $80 for it.

We got a Quick ‘n’ Easy bike trailer at Target on sale for $69 brand new. I think it is made by Schwinn, but not exactly sure. It fits two kids and we use it for our 18MO and 3YO. We love it and also turns into a stroller. But it is a BIG stroller, mind you. The whole concept of it turning into a stroller is so you can ride your bike somewhere, then park your bike and switch the trailer to stroller if you’re going to walking when you get there. We actually have never used it as the stroller. I think the brand you are referring to is the same. Would not be convenient for a stroller to take to the mall, say. For us, another advantage of buying new was that my husband made sure it could be returned if it did not fit his bike (he was worried about that, too) Turns out, it fit just fine. I have seen other brands occasionally on sale at Target for $89. We wanted one for a while, and also looked on craig’s list, but decided to wait it our until found a new one on sale cheap, and we did!
